Steady Progress: Masangano-Fisenge-Luanshya Road Nears Halfway Mark with Completion Set for 2024

As part of the Lusaka-Ndola Dual Carriageway Project, the 45-kilometer Masangano-Fisenge-Luanshya Road on the Copperbelt is making steady progress.

Currently, the road construction has reached 48% physical completion, showing significant advancements. On the Masangano-Fisenge section, a prime coat has been applied to a 2-kilometer stretch, preparing it for the asphalt layer. Additionally, 95% of the drainage structures on this section have been successfully completed.

The entire Masangano-Fisenge-Luanshya Road is on track for completion by December 31, 2024. This project is poised to improve connectivity and boost infrastructure in the region.
